tldr As a trainee GP, even the most common presentation of chest pain can make you think. Am I asking the right questions to help me treat this patient? I believe that medical education should make better use of Venn diagrams, medical statistics (especially positive predictive value) and risk scores to improve the teaching of undifferentiated presentations. So that people can more quickly memorise the really specific questions that help to make a diagnosis from a list of differentials.
