No 99: In 2025, Which Country Has the Best GP Salary Using the Big Mac Index?

? Does anyone remember one of the most popular series of 2022 on international comparisons of GP salaries and the Big Mac Index?

Well, guess what?

I have just updated it for 2025.

So, who are the winners and loosers?

If you are bored of the UK, where does the Big Mac Index suggest you could start a better life?

I was really surprised by this.

Firstly, using AI made this quicker, but then I had to double check quite a few salaries and exchange rates because the salaries in 2024 seem to be very different to what I was able to find in 2022.

Data Warning - Take these results with a pinch of salt. They are based on what salary information I can find on relatively accessible websites. I am sure people are earning quite differently to this but it just isn’t published in a way thats easy for me to find.
